Overview As a Leasing Specialist in Raleigh, NC, you will play a crucial role in converting prospects into paying residents. By promptly and professionally addressing customer inquiries, you’ll help maintain optimal occupancy rates at our building, maximizing revenue for the business. We seek a passionate individual who embodies excellent sales and customer service skills and can represent our brand while engaging with the vibrant Raleigh community.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries from various channels (website, third‑party listing sites, social media, phone, text, and email) to convert prospects into paying customers

Own the complete sales process

Consistently contact prospects until they schedule a tour or opt out.

Schedule and conduct property tours (30‑45 minutes) while sending confirmation texts prior to the tour.

Follow up with leads post‑tour to encourage application submission.

Work creative strategies towards individual sales targets, including

Create engaging marketing posts on platforms like Facebook and Craigslist, specifically targeting the Raleigh area to attract leads. Collaborate with the marketing department to manage social media accounts, specifically highlighting Raleigh events and community features on Instagram and TikTok. Communicate any issues regarding property conditions or member complaints to management, ensuring a high standard of living for residents.

Performance Tracking

Tours scheduled and held

Calls made

Document all interactions in the CRM.

Local Marketing

Host Open Houses at least twice a month, focusing on high‑traffic Raleigh neighborhoods.

Develop partnerships with local businesses, universities, and employers (such as NC State, local hospitals, and tech companies) to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications

1‑2 years of experience in hospitality, real estate, sales, or a related field.

A college degree or equivalent experience.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Familiarity with the Raleigh area and its neighborhoods is a plus.

Experience with social media and marketing is a plus.

Background in partnerships and community events is a plus.

$22‑24 per hour

$100 - $150 commission per signed lease.
