This Social Content Specialist role offers the opportunity to help shape the voice of iconic, beloved brands through bold, trend‑setting content. Advantage xPO is looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a sharp eye for design and video editing, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Pay: $27‑$28 per hour
You’ll be responsible for producing engaging, platform‑native content (primarily static with some short‑form video), while also supporting light community management to maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice. Your work will directly influence how consumers connect with brands — driving engagement, loyalty, and cultural relevance.
Responsibilities
Create thumb‑stopping content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
Design static graphics and edit short‑form videos using brand guidelines and current trends
Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to align content with brand strategy
Stay up to date with platform changes, trends, and emerging formats
Assist in the development of content toolkits, templates, and creative briefs
Monitor and engage with followers using tools like Sprinklr
Respond to key comments and messages in a timely, brand‑appropriate tone
Flag emerging trends, issues, or engagement opportunities to internal teams
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in social media content creation
Strong design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
Portfolio of standout social content or creative work required
Strong copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills
Deep understanding of social media trends, best practices, and platforms
Familiarity with social tools like Sprinklr (preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Must reside in the Greater New York (Manhattan) metro area with reliable internet
Flexible availability for occasional evenings or weekends
Willingness to travel up to 25% for content capture, events, or team collaboration
