Job Description Our Design team is the driving force behind the brand’s commitment to beautiful, authentic designs and high‑quality materials and construction. Designers manage the full design and development process—concept to flat sketch, sample to final garment—fueling creativity and pushing the product to new levels while collaborating across teams.
What Will You Be Doing?
Drive the daily design process: trend research, mood board creation, sketching in Illustrator, fabric and trim selection, fitting, and approving final garments.
Manage multiple seasons and product lifecycles for the A&F Women’s Department focused on Special Projects.
Research the global market to ensure products align with emerging trends and brand voice.
Present the line to senior leadership, providing insights on style and fit and securing team alignment.
What Do You Need to Bring?
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field; 5+ years of apparel design experience.
Deep understanding of design and production processes.
Proficiency in design software, including PLM and Adobe Suite.
Ability to manage the entire design process independently.
Strong customer insight and trend analysis skills.
Extensive knowledge of fabrics, fits, and construction methods.
Confident presentation and communication abilities.
Willingness to take bold risks and push boundaries.
Adaptability and quick thinking in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams.
