Overview
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer to design and improve our company’s online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for visual design, a solid understanding of computer animation and turning ideas into responsive, functional web pages. This is not a full‑time position; it requires a 1099.
Responsibilities
Design engaging, user‑friendly, and visually appealing websites and web pages.
Collaborate with developer to maintain website design.
Ensure designs are optimized for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
Maintain brand consistency across all web pages and digital platforms.
Conduct user research and usability testing to improve design decisions.
Stay up-to-date with current web design trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Web Designer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Knowledge of responsive design and cross‑browser compatibility.
Excellent sense of layout, color theory, and typography.
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Skills
Experience with animation or motion graphics.
Understanding of UX/UI design principles and accessibility standards.
Ability to interpret analytics and user feedback to improve design.
