Interior Designer – Project Manager
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer/ project manager to support our team with various design and administrative tasks, providing hands‑on experience in residential design.
Responsibilities
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple interior projects.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal design team to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Manage procurement: track orders, deliveries, and installation schedules for furnishings, materials, and finishes.
Maintain project documentation: proposals, orders, meeting notes, project logs, tracking, budgeting reports.
Facilitate periodic site visits to ensure design integrity and quality control.
Anticipate and resolve project hurdles proactively, ensuring communication with all stakeholders.
Organize and maintain material libraries.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Project Management, or related field.
2+ years in residential interior design project management for high‑end, boutique firms.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PowerPoint, and Word.
Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; experience in client‑facing roles.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, upscale, fast‑paced environment in NYC.
