Job Description
MR Architecture & Decor, a prestigious architecture and interior design firm specializing in high‑end residential and luxury retail, currently has an opening in our decor department for an experienced interior designer with a minimum of 5 years professional experience, including 2 years in project management.
Candidates must have strong design skills with experience in luxury residential and retail interiors, a thorough knowledge of the local design industry, fine antiques, and fabric/furniture vendors. The role is fast‑paced and creative.
Lead design and décor management of projects from concept through installation.
Interact with clients, attend meetings, and participate in showroom visits.
Develop and maintain furnishings budgets, prepare and track furniture orders.
Coordinate with furniture vendors, design/ manage custom furniture fabrication.
Sourcing decorative finishes, specifying furnishings and fabrics.
Prepare furniture plans, design elevations, and detailed custom furniture drawings.
Collaborate closely with the internal architecture team.
Job Requirements We are looking for an efficient person with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, able to work with minimal supervision and manage all phases of an interior design & décor project.
Bachelor's or master's degree in interior design.
Minimum of two years experience managing interior design projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop.
Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
