Experiential Marketing Technical Coordinator
Pay Rate:
$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr (W2)
Work Location:
365 East Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, CA 94080
Work Schedule:
Overtime is not expected but may occur upon manager approval.
Travel Requirements:
Potentially 2‑3 domestic business trips per year, including Las Vegas and events in California.
Initial Assignment Length:
12 months, with possibility of extension based on performance and team fit.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Events Tech Coordinator to join our Experiential Marketing Technical team. Primary responsibilities will include support for experiential activations, trade shows, and virtual events. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, and self‑reliant, capable of managing multiple projects while adapting to evolving technology needs.
Responsibilities
Support the technical team for upcoming activations such as Formula One 2025, CES 2026, SXSW 2025, CinemaCon 2025.
General organizational support, systems troubleshooting, and testing.
Inventory organization, documentation, and event planning support.
Team systems innovation and staffing support at events.
Education
BA or BS, preferably in marketing, event production, audio engineering, broadcasting, or related field.
Experience
2–4 years in AV production management and/or event production.
General technical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
Expertise in information management and organization.
Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
Technical troubleshooting curiosity.
Working knowledge of Mac and Windows OS.
Experience with MS Outlook, Smartsheet, Omnigraffle.
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
Computer networking knowledge is a plus.
Comfortable using light shop tools and electronics soldering tools.
Requirements
Local candidates only, able to commute daily to the South San Francisco office.
