Job Summary
The Senior Analyst (Membership) is responsible for all membership and class of trade activities. Extracts, analyzes, and interprets data from an array of systems to address compliance issues. Acts as an internal liaison between Finance, Customer Service, Data Services, and Contract Operations. The Analyst also prepares and summarizes commercial and customer trends, communicating business drivers and market dynamics to Commercial Operations and Financial Services.
This is a hybrid position. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in the Lake Zurich, Illinois office 3 days a week.
Salary Range : $85,000 – $100,000 per year. Position is eligible to participate in a bonus plan with a target of 6% of the base salary. Final pay determinations depend on experience, education, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate assigned account membership, maintenance, contract eligibility, and COT reviews.
Qualify membership eligibility before chargebacks are processed, distinguishing by contract, committed program, and COT.
Administer and maintain all class of trade membership and fee eligibility in the Model N system.
Confirm and validate contract eligibility within required timelines.
Act as ombudsman for assigned accounts and their members; investigate complaints, problems, and achieve equitable settlements and resolutions.
Facilitate internal functional groups (Order Services, Customer Operations, Chargebacks, IT, etc.) relating to assigned accounts and members, including written correspondence and contract updates.
Develop and communicate pertinent membership information to field sales force and internal management.
Manage 340B quarterly terminations and other 340B government requests, including quarterly reporting.
Serve as the primary external point of contact for membership via maintenance and analysis of group email box.
Perform audits related to sales and class of trade membership both internally and externally.
Perform individual contract access inclusion checks weekly and apply metrics to inclusion sets for analysis.
Ensure data quality of all outgoing reports and analyses.
Identify process improvement opportunities and develop or enhance tools to assist in deliverables.
Use SAP, Model N, Qlik, BEX, MicroStrategy, and other databases/tools to obtain, prepare, compile, and analyze information.
Analyze key KPIs to drive improvements in the Commercial Membership Validation process.
Support the new molecule process by ensuring membership information is up to date.
Complete all training requirements, including department-specific and compliance training.
Participate in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required (Advanced degree is a plus).
Minimum of 5 years of related experience, preferably with contracting, pricing, and healthcare membership experience.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, hospital/pharmacy products, and/or medical device contractual terms and conditions is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated business acumen and experience with customer agreements (preferably with GPO, IDN, and hospital/clinic contracting) is a plus.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills paired with critical thinking and problem‑resolution skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) with advanced Excel skill set.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Qlik, etc.) and other database concepts preferred.
Able to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with demonstrated time‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to work effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service‑oriented attitude.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
