Responsibilities Pursuit and Proposal Management
Lead and manage all pursuit production and coordination efforts (SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, etc.)
Prepare interview materials (PowerPoints, boards, placemats, etc.)
Create project write‑ups and work with the project team to keep them up to date
Staff and Internal Communications
Create and maintain resumes for technical staff.
Create Business Unit newsletters.
Support Senior Leadership on monthly staff meeting presentations.
Marketing and Sales Collateral
Coordinate and produce marketing and sales collateral for the Business Unit.
Manage local swag inventory and ordering.
Event Coordination
Coordinate and assist with jobsite and office events as needed.
Coordinate and schedule jobsite photography and employee headshots.
Task and Project Management
Keep day‑to‑day tasks managed in Monday.com, OpenAsset (DAM), and SharePoint.
Collaboration and Team Support
Work closely with BD leaders, operational leaders and others focused on winning new work and supporting company goals.
Work with the Corporate Marketing/Communications Team to elevate storytelling (internal communications, social media posts, etc.).
Competencies Collaboration:
The ability to work as part of a highly productive team is vital. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with team members to support company goals, manage trade show and career fair logistics, and assist with award submittals.
Customer Focus:
This competency involves a deep understanding of internal customer needs (BD professionals and BU leaderships) and the ability to tailor marketing efforts to meet those needs effectively.
Understanding Business:
A strong grasp of business principles and industry knowledge is crucial for this role. The coordinator must understand the construction industry to create relevant and impactful marketing materials.
Supervisory responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Physical demands (office) The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; bend; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Travel This position does not require regular travel.
Education, experience & qualifications The ideal Marketing Coordinator holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field from an accredited four‑year college or university. They possess excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills, and maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude. They are adept at re‑prioritizing daily tasks in a fast‑paced environment and are self‑starters who are results‑driven and able to work independently. They excel at developing and maintaining effective relationships with a broad group of stakeholders, fostering trust and partnership. With experience working on highly productive teams, they are comfortable multi‑tasking in a deadline‑driven environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is required, and familiarity with Adobe InDesign is recommended but not mandatory, provided there is a willingness to learn. Knowledge of the architecture, engineering, and construction industry is a plus, and they bring 1‑3 years of relevant experience to the role.
