Role Overview We are looking for a driven and curious
Structural Design Technician
to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team in the Advanced Manufacturing division. As a key member of the team, you’ll grow your skills and join our collaborative group, delivering award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery for state-of-the-art structures. You’ll work closely with clients and construction trade partners, develop design concepts, create models from scratch, coordinate designs considering existing conditions and other disciplines, and convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
Responsibilities
Develop design concepts and coordinate design to existing conditions and other disciplines.
Create models from scratch in Revit and produce 2D paper deliverables.
Convey structural requirements to construction teams.
Provide leadership for small projects, establishing project standards, procedures, training, and building team morale.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field.
At least 1 year of Revit experience.
At least 3 years of AutoCAD design experience.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of Revit experience.
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures.
Experience leading a team of designers.
Experience with healthcare, institutional, or commercial buildings.
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
