Base pay range: $129,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr Role Overview: As a centralized team, the Creative Audio Organization touches nearly every Meta product. As Design Program Manager you will shape the future of audio across Meta’s Family of Apps—Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, Threads, and MetaAI. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product design, branding, engineering) to design innovative audio experiences across smartphones, smart glasses, VR headsets and AR/MR experiences. You will work with Interaction Sound Designers to build brand recognition and enhance overall brand experiences, driving sonic innovation to create meaningful experiences that impact norms and connect people. Responsibilities Identify and drive large, program‑level product initiatives with multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, dependencies and moving parts. Prioritize, assess tradeoffs, propose clear solutions, and communicate strategically. Define and manage multi‑team strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and impact, contributing best practices to the discipline. Advocate for design‑driven solutions and apply design thinking to programs and operations. Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals, establish next steps and owners, and resolve blocks. Proactively assess risk, raise flags and resolve issues before they become problems. Serve as the operations subject‑matter expert to the product team and trusted leader across the company, collaborating and sharing knowledge. Communicate persuasively to get buy‑in and feedback. Proactively problem‑solve and distribute information effectively. Define and measure program impact both qualitatively and quantitatively, refining to ensure usage and adoption. Scale internal organization programs and delegate effectively with clear expectations. Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts. Minimum Qualifications 4+ years of experience in program or project management. Experience handling complexity and navigating ambiguity on large‑scale 0‑to‑1 projects. Experience working independently and seeking feedback and input. Experience working with sound designers, technical sound designers, and/or prototypers. Experience managing time‑critical projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and stakeholders. Experience managing vendors and contractors. Experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions. Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of experience in program or project management.
