The role is for leave coverage and will run from early December (flexible for a January start) until April with a possible extension until September. As a Freelance Recruiter, you will partner closely with our internal recruiting team and department leads to source, screen, and close high‑quality candidates. You will help build strong pipelines of freelance and full‑time talent that align with our agency’s creative DNA and fast‑paced, collaborative culture. You will be the first touchpoint many candidates have with our agency, representing our culture of creativity, collaboration, and passion for social. This means not just filling roles, but finding people who truly thrive in fast‑paced, social‑first environments and want to be part of a team pushing the boundaries of what brands can do. Responsibilities Manage full‑cycle recruiting for a range of roles across the agency (strategy, production, operations, and more). Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles. Source passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, creative networks, and industry‑specific platforms. Conduct screening interviews and assess candidate fit across skills and culture. Manage candidate communication and ensure a smooth interview process. Maintain accurate candidate data in our ATS (Greenhouse). Help optimize and improve our recruiting process and candidate experience. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience recruiting in a creative agency. Strong network within the creative, marketing, or social media industries. Experience hiring for strategy and production roles is a big plus. Excellent sourcing skills and comfort recruiting for diverse roles (freelance and full‑time). Have a good understanding of NY and CA hiring guidelines. Highly organized and able to manage multiple open searches at once. Personable, proactive, and a strong communicator. Experience using Greenhouse ATS (or similar) to manage candidate pipelines.
