Job Description The Associate Producer plays a key supporting role within NBCUniversal’s Marketing Shoot Production team, assisting in the execution of promotional content across broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms. Working alongside a Lead Producer, this position helps manage logistics, vendor coordination, and production workflows from prep through wrap, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and on budget. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with hands‑on familiarity with production sets, third‑party production vendors, and the general workflow of promo, photo, and marketing shoots. This role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skill, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Support the Lead Producer on all assigned promo and photo shoots, including pre‑production logistics, scheduling, and day‑of coordination. Collaborate with third‑party production vendors on shoot planning and production logistics. Produce behind‑the‑scenes (BTS) and embed shoots as required. Prepare and distribute materials for pre‑production meetings, wrap emails, post‑production calls, and project documentation. Maintain production calendars, track milestones, and communicate updates to internal teams and stakeholders. Collaborate across departments to gather creative assets and assemble comprehensive talent packets for distribution and routing. Manage file organization and delivery through Dropbox and SharePoint, including legal agreements, vendor paperwork, and production assets. Track and process vendor invoices, update finance documentation, and maintain accurate budget records across SharePoint, Airtable, and other internal systems. Monitor and manage shoot communications across Slack channels and email threads, flagging key information or issues for the Lead Producer. Qualifications Basic Requirements 1–2 years of experience in production, marketing, or entertainment. Bachelor’s degree in Film, TV, Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. Desired Characteristics Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through and proactive communication. Passion for production and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, high‑volume production environment. Interest in building a career in promo production, photo production, or creative marketing. Understanding of on‑set production environments and familiarity with camera, lighting, and grip terminology. Experience working with external production vendors, including managing schedules, deliverables, and contracts. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of post‑production workflows, file formats, codecs, and deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort working across teams and departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and file‑sharing systems such as Dropbox and SharePoint. Familiarity with Airtable. Additional Requirements This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.
