StudioBinder is a software company located in Santa Monica, providing a project management solution for producers, filmmakers and video creatives to better plan and execute their productions.

Job Overview

StudioBinder is looking for a full‑time SEO Specialist to join its Content and Editorial team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research.
• Optimize blog posts and marketing pages for search.
• Create an optimization action plan for our domain.
• Add content to WordPress (Yoast, Thrive Architect, etc.).
• Create newsletter funnels, drips, marketing pages.
• Revise article copy to better optimize them for search.
• Conduct site audits to identify on‑site SEO issues.
• Identify backlink opportunities.
• Cold email editors to acquire backlinks.
• Present results to team members and executives.

Qualifications

• Lives in Santa Monica (or very nearby).
• At least 3 years of experience as an SEO specialist.
• Passion for problem solving and analysis.
• Geeks out over SEO; not looking to pivot to a new role at StudioBinder.
• Subscribes to blogs such as HubSpot, Backlinko, and Moz.
• Obsessed with data and analytics.
• Passionate about copywriting.
• Has used StudioBinder before (not required, but a big plus).
• Comfortable writing about video production and filmmaking.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented, a stickler for good grammar, a problem solver, and can pick up new tech quickly.

Typical Workday

An overview of a typical morning: get to the office, join a morning stand‑up, grab a bagel and coffee, head to your desk, open Trello, optimize an old blog post, do keyword research, rewrite content, publish, log analytics, then lunch.
