We are hiring a Web Manager to start immediately.
- This is a direct hire position, hybrid on site (2 days on site, 3 days remote) in Brea, CA
- Salary is around 130k to 160k/year might be flexible for the right candidate
- We are looking for someone who has solid managerial experience, as you will be managing 7 Direct and Indirect reports, which is a mix of developers and creative marketing individuals (SEO/Digital Marketing)
- But this position also needs to be a hands on full stack developer with solid experience with PHP/Magento
- You will be the final escalation point for any technical problems for the website
The Web Manager is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to leverage company's website to drive traffic as well as other marketing initiatives. This position will be involved in global web strategies and streamline the end user experience, manage and measure the implementation of digital marketing strategies, etc. The Web Manager works with Digital Marketing Team to establish and monitor metrics to guide the website and digital marketing efforts. This position is also responsible for integrating micro sites with other tools across the Company including the CRM, product catalogue and promotional program information.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Strategic & Technical Leadership:
* Develop and execute the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for the company's website, with a strong focus on technical and on-page SEO best practices.
* Provide expert guidance and hands‑on technical leadership, particularly within the PHP and Magento ecosystem, ensuring the platform is technically optimized for search engines.
* Lead technical SEO initiatives, including site architecture, internal linking, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile friendliness.
* Stay current with evolving search engine algorithms and industry trends to ensure the website maintains a competitive edge in organic search. Team & Project Management:
* Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team, including frontend, backend, and UX/UI developers and designers, ensuring all web projects are executed with SEO as a core consideration.
* Collaborate with digital marketing and marketing teams to align web projects with SEO strategies, including keyword research, content optimization, and link‑building campaigns.
* Translate business objectives into technical requirements, acting as the central point of contact between departments and ensuring SEO is integrated into every stage of project development.
* Manage the project pipeline effectively, ensuring all web initiatives—from new feature development to content updates—are delivered on time and with a focus on maximizing organic traffic.
* Work closely with global web and IT teams on cross‑functional initiatives to ensure brand consistency, share best practices, and align on shared technological goals. Performance & Operations:
* Responsible for overall web performance and SEO health, monitoring key metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and technical crawlability.
* Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and resolve issues that may hinder search engine performance.
