Akkodis UI/UX Developer

This UI/UX developer will focus on creating intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. They combine design principles with front‑end development skills to build user interfaces that are both functional and user‑friendly, while ensuring the overall user experience is smooth, efficient, and enjoyable.

Location: Omaha, NE.
Employment type: Full‑time.
Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr – $110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write the HTML, CSS, and JS needed for frontend applications across multiple screen sizes
  • Create websites from proof of concepts and designs using a design system
  • Identify opportunities and provide solutions for improving user experience throughout the Frontend Application and company websites
  • Work with other Frontend Developers and Architects to help implement designs as needed
  • Evaluate and complete performance improvements throughout the Frontend Application and company websites
  • Monitor UX technology trends and innovations, market trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies
  • Participate and present ideas in meetings concisely for non‑technical stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in UX design and/or frontend development supporting software applications or website development
  • Excellent knowledge of working in a shared code source environment
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JS
  • Strong understanding of CSS and JS frontend frameworks
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and ability to adapt designs to any screen size
  • Basic understanding of accessibility requirements for software applications or websites
  • Basic knowledge of Figma and/or Zeplin
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with other UX/UI members by actively participating in feedback sessions
  • Self‑direction, tact, diplomacy, and a courteous and professional demeanor
  • Ability to be meticulous with accuracy and detail
  • Must be deadline sensitive and adaptable to change
