About Your Role
Tigera is looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape ideas into intuitive, efficient ways to manage complex data and tasks. We believe this role is a fantastic opportunity for a UX designer who wants to make an impact in a fast-evolving domain (cloud native, security, observability), and stepping into the exciting frontier of agentic AI product design. This position is Hybrid and based in San Francisco Bay Area (USA) – or – Vancouver, BC (Canada). Vancouver Salary Range: CAD $150,000 to CAD $160,000 San Francisco Salary Range: USD $150,000 to USD $160,000 You Will
Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams to shape the user experience of our cloud-native security & observability platform. Lead end-to-end UX design: user research, persona development, workflows, information architecture, interaction design, high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, and hand-off to engineering. Design for trust, transparency, and control for experiences involving intelligent agents, autonomous workflows, generative AI interfaces, and human-in-the-loop systems. Advocate for user-centred design throughout the product lifecycle: you’ll challenge assumptions, synthesize feedback from customers and internal stakeholders, and iterate quickly. Establish and maintain design systems, pattern libraries, and cross-product consistency to support scale and rapid growth. Evaluate usability, accessibility, performance and emerging UI/UX trends in cloud/security infrastructure. Engage our customers and users to develop detailed user personas, understand key tasks and workflows, and test design prototypes You Have
6+ years of UX design experience (or equivalent) in SaaS, B2B, cloud-native infrastructure, security or observability domains. Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), and ability to translate complex workflows into clean, usable interfaces. Experience working with engineering teams (especially agile, distributed teams), comfortable with handoffs and iterative delivery. Prior experience working directly with customers to do user research and test design prototype Excellent communication skills: you’ll translate technical problems into user-centric designs, articulate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders, and enjoy constructive debate. Comfort designing for high-impact enterprise audiences: network/security engineers, DevOps, SREs, cloud-native practitioners, and CxO buyers.
