About The Role The Principal Marketing Strategist, Vascular Strategy is a high‑impact individual contributor responsible for driving divisional‑level strategic initiatives across the Vascular portfolio at Boston Scientific. This role delivers customer‑centric strategies and actionable recommendations that influence business decisions across the division.
This strategist will lead efforts to better understand and optimize the customer experience, shape long‑term planning through insights and forecasting, and enhance strategic marketing capabilities across the organization. The individual will operate in a highly visible capacity, collaborating across franchises, functions, and commercial teams to execute aligned, growth‑focused strategies. This position also provides mentorship and guidance to junior strategists, supporting talent development within the Vascular Strategy function.
Work Mode Hybrid model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
Lead the development of divisional and portfolio‑level strategic insights that inform long‑term planning, investment decisions, and commercial execution.
Use a range of qualitative and quantitative forecasting tools to anticipate market shifts, identify growth opportunities, and guide time‑critical business decisions.
Drive initiatives that embed Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) into strategy development and decision‑making processes.
Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and deliver actionable recommendations that drive divisional impact.
Collaborate across marketing, sales, and cross‑functional teams to align priorities and ensure consistent, customer‑focused execution.
Develop and implement processes for understanding customer interactions, including journey mapping and process improvement initiatives.
Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to junior strategists to support capability building and professional development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing strategy, consulting, business analytics, or other strategic roles.
Demonstrated success leading high‑visibility, cross‑functional strategic initiatives.
Expertise in market analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree.
Experience in consulting, healthcare, life sciences, or other complex, regulated industries.
Demonstrated understanding of customer journey mapping and commercial process optimization.
