Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Project Coordinator to assist in the successful planning, execution, and delivery of our construction documentation for data center projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical background to support the project lifecycle, maintain documentation, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 1–3 years of experience ready to advance their project management career.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Project Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, scope definitions, and budgets.

Help create and update work breakdown structures (WBS) and detailed task lists for technical deliverables.

Coordinate internal team resources (Architects, Engineers, Designers) to ensure task assignments are clear and completed efficiently.

Manage and track all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders.

Utilize project management software Procore and SharePoint Planner to track progress, milestones, and resource allocation.

Ensure all project files and communication records are accurately maintained and accessible.

Schedule, attend, and document project meetings, preparing and distributing meeting minutes and action items.

Serve as a point of contact for routine communication between the internal design team, clients, consultants, and contractors.

Assist in compiling progress reports and presentations for client updates and management review.

Support the technical review process by coordinating quality checks on drawings and specifications prior to issuance.

Help identify potential project risks and delays related to design, regulatory approvals, or technical coordination, and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a technical role within an architectural, engineering, or construction environment (e.g., as a Technical Assistant, Project Coordinator, or EIT/Designer).

Foundational understanding of design and construction processes and terminology.

Proficiency with CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with interpreting construction documents, specifications, and building codes.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Experience using formal project management software, Procore and SharePoint Planner.

Experience with data centers.
