Our brand is warm, playful, elevated, and on-trend. We are seeking a Social Media Manager who can capture that aesthetic and voice while keeping our online presence dynamic, timely, and engaging.
Position Overview The Social Media Manager will oversee the creation, curation, and execution of daily social content across Amore’s platforms, primarily Instagram but also TikTok. This role ensures that our digital presence is fresh, responsive, and aligned with upcoming programs and events. The ideal candidate has a strong aesthetic sense, excellent written communication skills, and a pulse on trends, humor, and what resonates with parents, teachers, and students.
Key Responsibilities Daily
Create and publish 1–3 Instagram Stories per day that reflect:
Real-time events (classroom moments, behind-the-scenes, tutoring snapshots)
Upcoming events with signup links
On-brand memes, humor, and cultural touchpoints
Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages to foster community engagement
Publish 3–4 Instagram grid posts (carousel, photo, or reel), aligned with upcoming programming and brand values
Archive outdated posts and remove expired time-sensitive content
Maintain and update the social media content calendar with upcoming classes, events, and partnerships
Provide weekly analytics and insights, highlighting engagement trends and content performance
Monthly
Update pinned posts to reflect current priorities, featured offerings, or seasonal emphasis
Refresh Instagram Story Highlights (add, reorganize, or remove content as needed) Add fun holidays / national days to the Google Calendar to support creative content planning
Participate in monthly content-planning check-ins with leadership
Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of Instagram and current social trends
Excellent eye for design, aesthetics, and brand alignment
Confident writing voice that is warm, witty, and parent-friendly Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage deadlines
Experience with Canva, Instagram insights, and content scheduling tools a plus
Comfort capturing in-person content in classrooms and learning environments (occasionally)
