Our brand is warm, playful, elevated, and on-trend. We are seeking a Social Media Manager who can capture that aesthetic and voice while keeping our online presence dynamic, timely, and engaging.

Position Overview

The Social Media Manager will oversee the creation, curation, and execution of daily social content across Amore’s platforms, primarily Instagram but also TikTok. This role ensures that our digital presence is fresh, responsive, and aligned with upcoming programs and events. The ideal candidate has a strong aesthetic sense, excellent written communication skills, and a pulse on trends, humor, and what resonates with parents, teachers, and students.

Key Responsibilities

Daily

  • Create and publish 1–3 Instagram Stories per day that reflect:
    • Real-time events (classroom moments, behind-the-scenes, tutoring snapshots)
    • Upcoming events with signup links
    • On-brand memes, humor, and cultural touchpoints
  • Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages to foster community engagement
  • Publish 3–4 Instagram grid posts (carousel, photo, or reel), aligned with upcoming programming and brand values
  • Archive outdated posts and remove expired time-sensitive content
  • Maintain and update the social media content calendar with upcoming classes, events, and partnerships
  • Provide weekly analytics and insights, highlighting engagement trends and content performance

Monthly

  • Update pinned posts to reflect current priorities, featured offerings, or seasonal emphasis
  • Refresh Instagram Story Highlights (add, reorganize, or remove content as needed)
Add fun holidays / national days to the Google Calendar to support creative content planning
  • Participate in monthly content-planning check-ins with leadership

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Instagram and current social trends
  • Excellent eye for design, aesthetics, and brand alignment
  • Confident writing voice that is warm, witty, and parent-friendly
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage deadlines
  • Experience with Canva, Instagram insights, and content scheduling tools a plus
  • Comfort capturing in-person content in classrooms and learning environments (occasionally)

Who You Are

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and always thinking a step ahead
  • Passionate about education, community-building, and thoughtful storytelling
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration but can also take initiative
  • Someone who thrives in a small-business environment and understands the importance of flexibility, communication, and brand consistency.
