Contract Overview

This temporary executive role provides senior marketing leadership and continuity during a parental-leave period. The position oversees innovation pipelines, go-to-market planning, and portfolio expansion across professional and specialty retail channels. The leader ensures cohesive execution and alignment across cross-functional teams during the 4–6 month engagement. Responsibilities

Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches across specialty retail and professional channels.

Partner with global and regional R&D and brand teams to shape innovation for the U.S. market.

Translate product pipelines into launch calendars, marketing strategies, sell-in tools, and in-store activation plans.

Expand existing product portfolios into new customers and channels with tailored positioning and activation.

Manage marketing budget allocation, campaign phasing, and ROI tracking to support revenue and profitability goals.

Align with Sales, Education, Events, and Digital teams to ensure coordinated market execution.

Provide guidance and prioritization to support team focus on high-impact initiatives.

Qualifications

10+ years of senior marketing leadership within beauty, specialty retail, or prestige consumer brands.

Proven track record in innovation management and U.S. product launches.

Expertise in go-to-market execution from strategy through in-market delivery.

Experience in portfolio and channel expansion, including specialty retail sell-in.

Strong financial acumen for managing multi-million-dollar budgets.

Ability to operate effectively within a matrixed global–regional organization.
