Freelance Assistant Designer, Sweaters

Responsibilities Work closely with team to design category-specific product based on design direction for Sweaters Learn and understand raw materials, fabrics, and washes related to a specific classification Perform daily follow-up using email and PLM Interact with merchants and vendors to develop working partnerships Observe presentation techniques and be prepared to make preliminary presentations

Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education) At least 1-3 years of related Apparel experience; wovens related experience is a plus Must be knowledgeable of Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM (or equivalent program) Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction Able to multi-task and prioritize based on business objectives
