Federal Work Study – Enrollment Support Communications Center Middle Georgia State University (MGA) is seeking a candidate for a Federal Work Study position located in the SLC Enrollment Support Communication Center at the Macon Campus. This position supports the Enrollment Management division; daily efforts focus on processes needed to enroll and retain students. Student workers will utilize phone, email, text, social media and other tools/software to achieve enrollment objectives.

Responsibilities

Perform clerical and data entry tasks (e.g., answer telephone calls, input notes on student accounts).

Execute updates to web pages; upload appropriate videos, identify learning links, and post upcoming events to social media pages in a timely manner.

Respond to virtual chats and other communications as assigned.

Provide enrollment-related documents to prospective students and communicate outstanding needs and requirements for enrollment.

Have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and imaging programs.

Answer general financial aid and Bursar questions.

Maintain acceptable work quality, phone etiquette, and productivity standards.

Comply with FERPA requirements aligned with the University System of Georgia and MGA.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Be able to multitask and remain cordial to students, staff, faculty and visitors during high traffic/peak seasons.

Maintain academic workload while handling a work study job opportunity.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be currently enrolled at Middle Georgia State University for at least 6 credit hours.

Students must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
