Optician I - Eye Design - Clinton
Keplr Vision is seeking an Optician I for our Eye Design department in Clinton. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all patients receive the best quality of care at all times.
General Job Description & Responsibilities
Review physician prescriptions and orders based on medical charts.
Educate patients on corrective lens options and help them choose solutions that fit their medical needs and lifestyle preferences.
Provide honest but compassionate feedback on aesthetic choices in frames.
Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires.
Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety.
Communicate with physicians regarding questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye‑related issues.
Perform adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
Place optical orders with an understanding of insurance benefits.
Experience & Skills
Excellent customer service skills and personal presentation.
0‑3 years of experience.
Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
Coachable – open to feedback and continual improvement.
Flexible and adaptable.
Professional phone and office etiquette.
Optical experience preferred but not required – we will train the right person.
