Job Title:
Construction Inspector
Location:
On-site in Columbus, OH
What You'll Do
Travel to active construction sites to observe and document progress
Take notes and photos of fiber optic builds and report findings to the office team
Work closely with construction crews and learn how fiber networks are built
Use a tablet to record data and follow instructions from project managers
Help ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards
We’re Looking For
1+ year of experience in any construction‑related role (landscaping, general labor, etc.)
Interest in learning about fiber optics, telecom, and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure
Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for documentation
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites
Nice to Have
Degree or coursework in Construction Management or a related field
Previous exposure to fiber, coax, or cable work
Strong communication and organizational skills
