About the Artist CXBIS
is one of NYC’s most compelling rising artists — a genre‑blending vocalist, producer, and writer with a raw, distinct sound that cuts through the noise. Influenced by YE, Trippie Redd, Tyler The Creator, and Ian Dior, he brings a mix of vulnerability, melody, and originality.
Self‑taught since age 6 (piano, production, songwriting), he writes, records, and masters his own music — building a catalog that is emotionally charged, sonically different, and built for the next wave of hip‑hop and alt‑rap.
CXBIS is on the brink of breaking through. The right person will grow with him and eventually become a trusted part of the core team behind a New York artist on the rise.
The Role We’re looking for a
high‑caliber, culture‑fluent Brand Social Media Strategist
— someone who understands rising artists, aesthetics, storytelling, internet culture, and the digital platforms where music careers are built.
Type:
Internship
→ strong potential to grow into a paid, long‑term role.
Location:
REMOTE
(Hybrid – NYC strongly preferred).
Responsibilities
Creative Collaboration
– Develop the visual identity, aesthetics, themes, and brand direction; craft concepts, storylines, rollouts, colors, and moods; guide the creative for singles, snippets, behind‑the‑scenes, and videos.
Content Creation & Growth
– Plan, shoot, and edit TikToks, reels, and short‑form videos; capture studio sessions, lifestyle clips, personality moments; build a consistent posting strategy; use trending formats that feel natural to the artist.
Fan Engagement & Social Media
– Manage IG, TikTok, YouTube Shorts; engage with fans and grow the community; spark conversations and build a loyal base.
Promotion, PR & Rollouts
– Pitch to playlists, blogs, influencers, and culture pages; assist with outreach and communication; support structured timelines for new music drops.
Brand Development
– Build the world around CXBIS; keep consistency in sound, story, and visuals; collaborate on merch, cover art, and future creative concepts.
Ideal Candidate
Passion for hip‑hop, alt‑rap, and music culture.
Strong knowledge of TikTok/IG trends and music virality.
Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe, etc.).
Creative eye and strong sense of storytelling.
Reliable, consistent, and self‑driven.
NYC‑based (for content days, shoots, studio sessions) – preferred.
Experience growing artists, brands, or creative accounts – preferred.
Graphic design or Canva skills – preferred.
Understanding of artist rollouts or PR – preferred.
Compensation
Internship: unpaid initially.
Strong potential for paid roles as the brand and team grow.
Access to studio sessions, shoots, performance days, and industry events.
