The Disney Entertainment segment includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including streaming.

The Digital Marketing team oversees creative, programming, and operations of Disney Entertainment’s General Audience (GA) and Made For Kids (MFK) YouTube channels. The Creative and Programming Strategy part of the YouTube team is responsible for content development and production, channel strategy, program planning, and more. Additionally, this team works closely with YouTube Creative & Project Management teams, as well as TWDC Brand and Franchise, Studios, Consumer Products, Experiences, Governance, Legal, Music, and Finance. The team is responsible for adhering to TWDC and YouTube policies.

This role is a project hire with an end date of 11/2026.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator on the YouTube Creative and Programming Strategy team will support the Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing team in creative planning, development, production, and execution of content for multiple TWDC YouTube channels. This role supports the team with day-to-day creative responsibilities including asset gathering and creation, creative reviews, content curation, video editing, and more. This role will work in tandem with Publishing on performance packaging, data-driven optimization, and more. The Digital Marketing Coordinator should be well-versed in the YouTube ecosystem, with a solid understanding of content formats, best practices, and community, as well as an eye on YouTube’s latest content creator recommendations, new tools, and updates to implement where advantageous to the content. The coordinator should be collaborative, results-driven, and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of a variety of social, digital, and emerging platforms, and corresponding trends. An affinity for a wide array of Disney brands, as well as YouTube-first content programming, is beneficial, as is a keen eye for content geared toward GA or MFK channels. The coordinator should be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, collaborate effectively, troubleshoot as needed, and manage up to leadership appropriately.

Responsibilities

Work with Creative leads to provide notes and feedback on original and derivative content productions

Collaborate with teams on strategic content development, ideation, and execution

Limited video and asset editing, and content exporting

Pull timecodes for asset creation and as needed, deliver vendor assets to internal and external partners, ensuring correct specs and formats

Collaborate and coordinate with YouTube Publishing leads and Production Managers to maintain production and programming details within Airtable

Collaborate with YouTube Publishing team on performance packaging (thumbnail, title, metadata, etc.)

Coordinate day-to-day development of channel-specific original programming through delivery, including QA reviews to ensure final deliverables meet brand and platform standards; inclusive of video and YouTube Posts content

Collaborate with other teams on alignment and brainstorming around original series + new title launches

Monitor YouTube content creators, new product offerings, platform updates, and trends to remain on the front edge of latest levers to improve creative and content performance

As needed, manage asset delivery to internal and external partners, ensuring correct specs and formats

Support QA reviews to ensure final deliverables meet brand and platform standards

Deck creation

Content Development and Production

Ideate, develop, and assist in production of original and derivative content

Pull timecodes

Edit videos

Write copy for metadata, creative briefs, and more

Collaborate with other teams on performance packaging of content

Assist with creative programming strategy planning and deployment, including deck creation

Support media management

Support content QA reviews

Basic asset management, as needed: transferring of assets to vendors and simple QC of video deliveries from vendors

All other duties, as assigned, by manager

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in social/digital marketing

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word), Google Docs, Box, Keynote/PowerPoint

Adept at content editing and creation with tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere

Previous experience with CRM tools, i.e. Airtable, Zendesk

Strong understanding of social media platforms, specifically YouTube

Strong language and copy-writing skills

Impeccable eye for detail coupled with the ability to communicate clearly and implement strategies as directed

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, digital-forward environment

Outstanding organization and communication skills

Efficient with time with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize accordingly

Ability to multi-task and pivot quickly as needed

Solid technical understanding of YouTube channel operations and backend

Preferred

AA or BA in Digital Marketing, Marketing or business admin/relevant degree preferred, or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in California is $54,000.00-$72,300.00 and in New York is $56,600 - $75,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
