$38.00/hr - $40.00/hr The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components. This role focuses on the design of grocery store delivery stations, working closely with Design Engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of CAD drawings. Must be proficient in AutoCAD and 2D drawings within architecture and construction. Responsibilities
Work with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts and translate these into detailed interior CAD drawings. Collaborate with Design Engineers, other CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering (WWE), Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver a completed, approved design set. Engage with internal and external stakeholders to review permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans. Support the design quality control process through participation in daily peer reviews and adherence to design checklists and standards. Deliver new designs, post-permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity at delivery stations. Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs. Proficiency in Construction, Architecture, AutoCAD drafting and design skills. Understanding of architectural floor plans, especially in large warehouse-type environments. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and proficiency in construction document design and drafting. 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD drafting. 3+ years of project coordinating experience. 3+ years of experience in drafting for facility layout, manufacturing design, commercial, industrial, or structural projects. Extensive operating experience in AutoCAD 2018 or later, preferably within a Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture capacity. Intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam. Associate's Degree. Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to facilitate meetings. This position requires the individual to work onsite in Bellevue, WA, three days a week. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on the design and enhancement of grocery store delivery stations. Job Type & Location
