Responsibilities

• Design low voltage systems, including intrusion, access control, CCTV, DAS, LAN, Wi-Fi Networks, and more for commercial and multifamily projects
• Act as a resource and provide technical assistance for projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction
• Provide efficiency reviews and / or value engineering options for existing designs
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel
• Design code-compliant, contract-compliant, and cost-effective systems while reviewing scopes of work, specifications, plans and legal contracts
• Revit required
• If no Revit, needs a minimum of CAD (no Visio)
• Design experience in these scopes, LV, AV or DAS
• Access control, CCTV, structured cabling, AV, iDAS , FA
• Avoid anyone who are only or primarily doing as-builts – we want those who are creating shop drawing level design specs, preferably from scratch
• Manufacturer specific experience isn’t necessary
• Similar project related experience with multifamily is best (alternatives accepted are with healthcare, data centers, stadiums)
