About the Role
They’re seeking a hands-on Google Specialist who can audit, optimize, and scale — not just execute checklists. This role blends Local SEO and Google Ads expertise to help clients dominate their local markets and maximize ROI.
You’ll be responsible for managing Google Business Profiles, driving local SEO growth, optimizing Google Ads and Local Service Ads, and communicating directly with clients to align performance with lead generation goals.
Responsibilities
Local SEO & GBP Optimization
Optimize Google Business Profiles (GBP) for multiple clients across different locations.
Manage local ranking strategies including NAP consistency, reviews, photos, and Q&A optimization.
Conduct technical SEO audits and implement on-page improvements (schema, internal linking, site structure, metadata, etc.).
Build and maintain keyword maps for each client location.
Collaborate with content and web teams to develop local content strategies that drive visibility and leads.
Track and report results using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and grid ranking tools.
Google Ads & Local Service Ads (LSA)
Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads and Local Service Ads campaigns for home service clients.
Conduct keyword research, build negative keyword lists, and optimize for lowest CPL (Cost Per Lead).
Set up conversion tracking, call tracking, and ensure data accuracy across platforms.
Manage monthly ad budgets and report on performance metrics including lead quality and ROI.
Perform ongoing campaign audits and scaling strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure landing pages and ads align for maximum conversions.
Client Communication & Reporting
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights and clear performance data.
Communicate strategy, results, and next steps through Slack, Loom, and scheduled client meetings.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in Local or Multi-Location SEO.
Strong understanding of GBP optimization and technical SEO best practices.
2+ years of experience managing Google Ads and Local Service Ads campaigns.
Proven ability to improve cost per lead and lead quality through data-driven optimization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ or higher).
Experience using project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, or similar).
Comfortable using Slack, Loom, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
