The Role

As an Account Supervisor, you lead both tactical account management and broader leadership, coaching and guiding direct reports, managing day‑to‑day small accounts, and advancing to larger strategic roles. You own year‑long strategies, anticipate client needs, attend FAMs and media missions, pitch new business, manage contract renewals, and engage in industry events and webinars.

Account + Client Management

  • Manage day‑to‑day client activities, including communication, research, planning, implementation and evaluation of public relations activities.
  • React quickly to client needs and lead your account through 90‑day goals, continuously adapting tactics.
  • Lead small accounts seamlessly and progress toward larger leadership opportunities.
  • Develop and implement creative & media‑worthy programs.
  • Create strategy as an account lead on some accounts, with leadership support when necessary.
  • Use Harvest to manage team members’ time and account profitability.
  • Develop press‑worthy programs and ideas for clients.

Media Relations

  • Create buzz‑worthy collaborations and spin basic information into larger stories.
  • Leverage a solid, trusted network of A+ media contacts, available on short notice.

Team Leadership

  • Manage direct report(s), provide leadership, guidance, feedback and coaching remotely and in person.
  • Support and offer insight to senior leadership as needed.

New Business

  • Participate regularly in 20Two Studio’s new business pitching, articulating what sets us apart.

20Two Studio / Industry

  • Weave industry involvement into the agency’s knowledge base, reporting insights and creating client opportunities.
  • Develop one educational workshop each year.

Experience and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of public relations experience in hospitality, travel, tourism, and/or restaurant/culinary arenas.
  • Agency PR experience required (in‑house PR experience a plus).
  • Strong national, regional, local and trade media contacts in the US market.
  • Demonstrated track record of securing media coverage for clients.
  • In‑person experience hosting media missions, press trips, and FAMs.
  • Some experience leading account teams as primary client contact.
  • Foundational understanding of influencer engagement.
  • Ability to travel for client needs – must have a valid passport for international travel.
  • Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship for a visa.
