Web Developer (Hybrid)

Primary Location: Richmond, Virginia

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Web Developer for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia.

Education And Experience

• Strong proficiency in front‑end technologies, particularly Angular or React, along with back‑end experience in Java.
• Angular Expertise: professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using Angular or React: 5 years.
• API Development: building and consuming RESTful APIs (or equivalent experience in a language like Java/Spring Boot): 5 years.
• Database Proficiency: SQL development, including writing complex queries and performing basic query optimization: 5 years.
• Full Dev Lifecycle: Strong understanding of the complete software dev lifecycle (SDLC) and modern dev methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum): 5 years.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows (e.g., branching, merging, pull requests): 5 years.
• Problem‑Solving: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot and debug application issues across the stack: 5 years.
• Highly desired: Prior Tax or financial technology work experience: 2 years.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications.
• Implement new features and enhancements.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality.
• Review and contribute to technical designs.
• Ensure applications meet all functional specifications and performance requirements.
