Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: St. Louis, MO or NYC (Hybrid Onsite)

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Writer with some experience in Snowflake and Databricks to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our data engineering and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture guides, how-to manuals, data workflows, and API references
• Work closely with data engineers, architects, and product teams to understand complex technical concepts
• Document Snowflake schemas, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, notebooks, and job orchestration
• Create knowledge-base articles, release notes, and best‑practice guides
• Ensure documentation is consistent, accurate, and aligned with internal standards
• Translate technical jargon into simple, easy-to-understand content

Required Skills

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in a data engineering or cloud environment
• Understanding of technical documentation around Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL
• Ability to read technical code/notebooks and convert them into structured documentation
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail
• Experience with documentation tools
