Base pay range
$80.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Design Lead to set a strategic design vision, guide research and execution, and deliver high-quality, production‑ready materials. This is a hands‑on, player‑coach role collaborating closely with business, product, and technical leaders. The Design Lead will work in a supportive, proactive, and highly collaborative team across multiple lines of business, including Studio Tours, Finance, HR, Intranet, and external‑facing sites. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise‑level products, drive user‑centered design decisions, and work on high‑profile projects that impact both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Champion a human‑centered product vision and align design strategy with business and product goals.
- Lead iterative design research (generative and evaluative) to inform UX decisions and product backlog priorities.
- Ideate, define, and deliver detailed designs for user stories, including acceptance criteria and prioritization.
- Lead the POD design team in maintaining and evolving the design system and other design operations resources.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, data science teams, and other designers to ensure effective implementation and consistency of designs.
- Act as the primary UX voice in demos and stakeholder interactions, ensuring accessibility and UX standards are met.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive innovation in design processes and platform development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of UX design experience with strong Figma expertise (portfolio required).
- 5+ years leading design teams in cross‑functional, agile environments.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate, solve problems, and deliver solutions in fast‑paced, dynamic settings.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating design strategies to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proactive mindset with passion for building modern, user‑centered enterprise products.
- Deep expertise in agile design, mobile‑first principles, and bridging data insights to design decisions.
- Proficiency with Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office 365.
Nice‑to‑Have:
- Software design and development background.
- Experience in Finance, Media, or Entertainment.
- Skills in rapid prototyping and data visualization.
