The Marketing organization is redefining great marketing and serving as a growth engine for the business. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Home Lending Lifecycle Growth Marketing professional to join our team and drive marketing strategy and innovation. This position is primarily based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Responsible for time in the office on a regular basis; some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
Experience in Home Lending (Mortgage and Home Equity) marketing is required.
Key Responsibilities
Leads the strategy and team that executes and implements integrated, multi‑channel, strategic marketing plans for one or more products, initiatives, or channels, acquiring, growing, and retaining customers to support product life‑cycle and business goals.
Leads a team to define and drive alignment on business and marketing objectives, develop value propositions and target segments leveraging competitive intelligence and insights to drive growth strategies.
Leads team to translate desired business outcomes into marketing strategy and execute complex, integrated marketing programs that may include advertising, sales content, and internal communications; leads and influences multi‑functional program teams.
Influences the budget while ensuring all operating activities are optimized and delivered within the established budget framework; coordinates with legal, compliance, finance, risk, and other key partners.
Responsible for performance management, continuous coaching and development of employees to achieve business results and adapt to evolving marketing strategies.
Proactively problem‑solves and overcomes challenges; thinks outside the box to propose solutions, develop marketing strategies, launch test‑and‑learn initiatives, and drive business goals while delivering quality consumer experiences and managing risk and budget.
Creates omni‑channel marketing strategies for Mortgage and Home Equity through acquisition, cross‑sell, retention, and engagement lifecycles.
Tests complex offers and optimizes digital funnel strategies.
Builds and optimizes customer and prospect journeys.
Utilizes paid media (Search, Social, Display), SEO, and affiliate test‑and‑learn opportunities, strategies, and channels.
Works in a fast‑paced environment, responding to partners in a timely manner.
Uses data and consumer insights to develop breakthrough creatives and marketing strategies.
Ensures compliance with Fair Lending and Community Reinvestment Act.
Provides sponsorship for employment visas or participates in STEM OPT; PNC will not provide such sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications
8+ years of industry experience in Home Lending marketing, including Mortgage and Home Equity.
At least 5 years of prior management experience.
University/college degree (Bachelor’s required; Master’s, PhD, or relevant certifications desirable).
For those without a degree, a comparable combination of education, certification, and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Strong business acumen, data analysis, collaboration, decision making, influencing, and problem‑solving skills.
Experience partnering with product partners, call‑center leaders, and Retail Mortgage Loan Originator sales leaders to support successful omni‑channel marketing campaigns.
Understanding of mortgage and home equity products, programs, and audiences.
Experience developing Home Equity Line of Credit portfolio marketing strategies focused on retention and engagement, including utilization and maturity strategies.
Experience developing and executing Mortgage COI and co‑branding multi‑channel strategies.
Experience in optimizing digital funnel strategies, paid media, SEO, and affiliate strategies.
Ability to build and optimize customer journeys and launch test‑and‑learn initiatives.
Ability to adapt to evolving business environments and manage risk.
Preferable skills: Advertising, Competitive Advantages, Content Marketing, Customer Solutions, Digital Marketing, Marketing Programs, Marketing Strategies, Negotiation, Results‑Oriented.
Pay Transparency Base Salary: $106,000.00 – $144,000.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
