Marketing Assistant Director – Americas Wealth & Asset Management
Location: New York City, Charlotte, Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington
The Opportunity You will be a critical part of a team that helps the Wealth & Asset Management sector meet their go-to-market (GTM) objectives and achieve revenue goals by coordinating diverse marketing and communications activities, including the creation and distribution of thought leadership content and marketing collateral, event management and execution, use of digital and social media marketing, etc.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction to the business for the creation of innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive demand and measurable impact.
Develop a deep understanding of issues, buyers and the industry to develop the concepts and content of marketing and communications programs in alignment with the business’ strategy.
Collaborate with Wealth & Asset Management leadership to identify our buyers’ business issues and develop and support integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that align to business issues and the practice’s overall strategy.
Manage the development and distribution of thought leadership, both externally and internally using multi-channel approach (thought leadership, proprietary EY events, industry conferences, PR/media relations, social media, digital, paid search, etc.).
Manage the development, deployment and measurement of quarterly paid media campaigns to support key initiatives.
Develop and execute effective proprietary EY events (e.g., nationwide C‑suite virtual events and physical events, seminars, webcasts) and manage sponsorships of industry events.
Manage the communications plan and strategic roll‑out of a global survey, including oversight of the development of the on‑line survey results page on ey.com and digital advertising campaign.
Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate, measure and report on all marketing programs and workflows.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Understanding of advanced marketing and communication principles and, ideally, exposure to financial industry marketplace issues.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of digital marketing, including demand generation using marketing automation, paid media, search optimization, etc.
Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple, complex and time‑sensitive projects and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders.
Track effectiveness of overall marketing campaigns and individual initiatives, providing measurement reports and status updates.
Align with global marketing teams to inform and activate global campaigns in the Americas.
Work independently to resolve challenges while maintaining an active dialogue with all stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a proficiency in converting complex technical concepts into compelling market messages.
Curiosity, creativity and interest in championing new cutting edge technologies for client programs, such as the Metaverse.
Qualifications
8+ years of marketing and communications experience, with Wealth & Asset Management industry and/or professional services experience preferred.
A Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing or Communications major preferred. MBA a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) as well as listening and interpretation skills.
Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for broad audiences.
Possesses poise, confidence, and emotional intelligence to professionally interact with all levels of leadership.
Ability to team seamlessly with co‑workers and provide fungible support when needed; must be able to function equally well independently and as part of a cohesive, high‑performance team.
Ability to oversee and drive significant portions of major or highly complex projects and events.
The right individual will be detail‑oriented, well‑organized, accountable and transparent.
Benefits
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range for this job in all US geographic locations of $96,300 to $180,100. Specific ranges for New York City, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) are $115,600 to $204,600.
