Leaders of Today and Tomorrow (LOTT) is currently recruiting new committee members who are passionate about empowering women leaders for terms starting now on the Communications Committee. The Communications Committee is responsible for overseeing all communications, public relations, and social media presence. This includes developing and managing the overall brand tone, creating a style guide, and establishing standards for the organization. The committee handles a variety of tasks such as managing social media accounts and campaigns, as well as creating newsletters, press releases, and other communication materials to engage stakeholders, donors, and the community. By ensuring clear, consistent, and effective messaging, the committee helps strengthen the nonprofit's visibility, reputation, and relationship with its audience. LOTT’s mission is to ignite women to lead with confidence. We do this through a six-month fellowship that includes workshops, a mentor pairing, personal development plans, and a community-based project. All aspects of the fellowship are free to participants. LOTT is an active, working board that works alongside committee members to power a volunteer-run organization. As a committee member, you will give your time, expertise, and passion to help drive our organization and leadership fellow program forward. LOTT’s fellowship program is designed to develop and challenge emerging professional women, helping them build leadership skills that will impact their careers and communities. Committee meetings take place approximately once per month on a day that members agree upon. There are times the LOTT community comes together in person throughout the year though. The average time commitment is about 5-10 hours per month for committee members. Committee members commit to a one-year renewable term. Applications consist of an online application and resume upload. You can apply online and learn more about the process here: https://www.wearelott.org/join-the-board Our commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that we welcome individuals from all backgrounds and perspectives, fostering a supportive and empowering environment for all. By joining LOTT, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience, expand your network, and contribute to meaningful community work.
