Position Summary The Marketing Manager leads the development and execution of strategic marketing and communications initiatives that advance WomenVenture's mission and strategic priorities. This role is responsible for connecting with key audiences—including clients, donors, volunteers, board members, and community partners—and inspiring them to act. As a key member of the Advancement Team, the Marketing Manager plays a vital role in helping to advance donor engagement, elevate client experience, and drive impact through events and community outreach. Core Responsibilities Strategic Marketing & Outreach Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that advance WomenVenture's mission, supporting both donor engagement and client experience. Lead campaigns to promote programs, services, and fundraising initiatives, driving enrollment, engagement, and contributions. Identify and segment key audiences—including clients, donors, volunteers, and community partners—and tailor messaging to inspire action. Collaborate with program and departmental leaders to ensure marketing and communications support organizational priorities and program goals. Track, analyze, and report on marketing effectiveness, adjusting strategies to maximize impact. Communication and Brand Management Oversee all organizational communications, including website, social media, email campaigns, and collateral, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. Craft compelling content that highlights client success stories, program outcomes, and fundraising impact. Manage workflows and communication touchpoints that enhance the experience of clients, donors, and stakeholders. Draft press releases and coordinate media outreach to raise visibility for programs and fundraising initiatives. Events and Community Engagement Lead marketing and communications for internal and external events, including program launches, fundraisers, and community outreach opportunities. Collaborate cross-departmentally to design event materials, manage logistics, and support onsite execution. Identify opportunities to showcase WomenVenture in the community, representing the organization to strengthen relationships with clients, donors, and partners. Support both programmatic and fundraising goals through events that engage and inspire key audiences. Other duties, tasks, and responsibilities that may be assigned at any time None specified. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Deep commitment to gender equity and WomenVenture's mission. 4+ years of communications or marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a management level role. 2+ years experience in the nonprofit sector. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong initiative; comfortable working independently and collaboratively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive content. Strong cultural competency and ability to collaborate across diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Confident public speaker, comfortable presenting to groups of up to 30 people. Experience managing budgets. Strong proficiency across multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Skilled in Microsoft Office, Canva, and MailChimp, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new or proprietary software. Experienced with donor database systems and CRM platforms, with the ability to manage, track, and analyze donor information effectively. Creative, flexible, and resourceful problem solver.
