Emerging Video and Platforms Expert This role centers on understanding how social video drives attention, culture, and consumer behavior. You should know how TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Snap Spotlight work, what content formats rise, why certain videos are pushed, and how creators adapt. You should also be familiar with platform testing, changes affecting discovery, and how creators and brands can leverage these shifts for growth.
Your work supports Quire’s strategy, investor research, and client engagements involving audience behavior, content production, and revenue models. You will explain platform evolution and its implications for creators, premium content owners, sports properties, and entertainment companies. Staying ahead of new formats, trends, and behavioral shifts is essential so the team always knows the frontier of video.
This is a role for someone who enjoys breaking down what they see on social platforms into clear insights. You should be personally interested in creators, vertical video formats, and platform culture. You should also be comfortable working quickly, forming a point of view, and presenting recommendations simply and directly. The goal is to give clients a clear understanding of what matters, what is noise, and where opportunity exists.
Quire will pay a premium rate for an individual who works autonomously, responds rapidly, understands urgency, and demonstrates strong judgment in candidate selection.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze emerging video platforms and identify opportunities in creator‑driven media.
Track changes across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Snap Spotlight, and new video formats.
Identify platform updates, feature launches, and incentive shifts that affect creators and brands.
Explain why specific vertical video formats perform well and the mechanics behind them.
Analyze pacing, editing styles, sound use, narrative structure, and content patterns within short‑form video.
Monitor emerging trends across entertainment, sports, fashion, gaming, and cultural moments.
Map audience movement across platforms and explain engagement transfer or breakdown.
Produce clear and concise insight briefs for client work, internal strategy, and investor research.
Review creators, publishers, and brands innovating with new formats and highlight learnings.
Support the team by adding platform intelligence to pitch decks, case studies, and executive briefings.
Develop simple frameworks to evaluate platform behavior, monetization potential, and audience patterns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Hands‑on experience in social video, creator strategy, digital media, or platform analytics.
Strong understanding of short‑form and vertical video culture and mechanics.
Comfort interpreting platform analytics and identifying early signals in audience behavior.
Ability to break down content formats into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with creator monetization models and platform revenue features.
Strong writing and synthesis skills for executives and client‑facing materials.
Ability to connect platform changes to strategic or commercial implications.
Experience analyzing creators, channels, or video libraries.
Ability to work quickly, independently, and with strong judgment in fast‑paced environments.
Interest in staying close to emerging formats, cultural shifts, and creator‑driven innovation.
Compensation (Contract) Compensation for this role is based on experience and ranges from
$60 to $80
per hour, with potential for a higher scale based on more complex creative work.
We will pay a premium for candidates with extensive experience.
Skills Test and Personality Assessment Selected candidates will undergo a skills test and personality assessment to ensure alignment with the role and our company culture.
Contractor Role You will be working as a contractor, not an employee. The work is highly complex, fast‑paced, and requires utmost skill and professionalism. This position is remote, with no travel required.
