Job Summary As an usher/ticket taker, you will greet guests, scan tickets, assist with questions, maintain safety, handle emergencies, verify credentials, and provide support for guests with special needs.
Responsibilities
Greet guests and scan tickets upon entry.
Answer guest questions and provide assistance.
Assist in maintaining venue safety, cleanliness, and presentation.
Resolve guest complaints or problems.
Verify ticket authenticity or staff credentials.
Provide assistance to guests with special needs and guide them to exits.
Assist in directing patrons with directions inside or outside the venue.
Ensure guests are safely enjoying the show.
Other tasks as requested by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
At least 1 year of guest service experience (preferred).
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
Ability to walk, climb stairs, lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
6‑8 hour shifts; physical demands include walking up and down stairs.
