As part of our Architecture practice at HDR, you’ll contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world. From healing environments and learning spaces to research labs and civic landmarks and infrastructure, your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them. We bring together architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve complex design challenges with creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. From championing design excellence with an emphasis on resilience and sustainability to pioneering innovative building technologies, your contributions will leave a lasting impact on the built environment. Landscape Designer Responsibilities
Work under the direction of registered Landscape Architect to assist in development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation
Understand that assignments have specified objectives and require investigation of many variables, including site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading, storm drainage, and planting design.
Conduct site visits and analyses, and assist the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using combination of hand‑drawn and computer‑rendered graphics
Provide REVIT / AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Preference given to local candidates
Rhino and Revit experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience
Photoshop a plus
Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage
Strong oral and written communication skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must
