Digital Marketing Specialist - Social Media Full-time / 40 hours per week / Hybrid work schedule

Location: 1077 Gorge Blvd, Akron, OH 44310

Summary Creates, produces, and manages content for SummaCare and support Summa Health social media platforms while collaborating closely with the Digital Marketing team. Produces high-quality multimedia content, including videos, images, and graphics, and collaborates closely with the Social Media team and leadership to ensure cohesive branding and messaging. Assists with implementing social media strategies, increasing engagement, visiting locations for photoshoots and video production, and ensures timely and consistent content publication across all platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

Formal Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Experience & Training Required: One year of experience including:

Experience with content creation tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.

Proficiency in video production, editing, and photography.

Familiarity with social media platforms (Meta, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.

Strong communication and writing skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with the Digital Marketing team and other team members.

Experience with social media metrics and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).

Experience producing content for various platforms and tailoring it to fit different audience needs.

Up-to-date with Trends: Awareness of the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates.

Familiarity with SEO principles and how they apply to social media content.

Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

Physical Demands

Primarily sedentary work; occasional light lifting.

Ability to visit various locations for content creation, including capturing photos and videos as needed.

Compensation $23.22/hr – $34.83/hr (base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials). Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
