Role Overview As the Marketing Specialist, you’ll be the glue connecting creative, operations, and sales—driving seamless execution of marketing campaigns across eCommerce, retail, and omnichannel platforms. You’ll manage everything from site updates and email strategy to retail submissions and content production, all while using data to fuel brand growth.
What You’ll Do E-Commerce & DTC (Shopify, TikTok Shop)
Manage daily marketing operations across Shopify, TikTok Shop, and Gratis Store in the U.S., Canada, and UK.
Update homepage banners, promotions, shipping info, and product pages with accurate copy, imagery, and SEO.
Audit site content for accuracy, accessibility, and performance.
Coordinate with agencies on tech updates and bug fixes, track development projects.
Analyze competitors and trends to suggest new features and UX improvements.
Email & SMS Marketing
Oversee agency relationships for email and SMS campaigns.
Provide strategic input for calendars tied to launches and promotions.
Ensure messaging aligns with brand tone and gets internal approval.
Marketing Calendar Management
Own the master calendar across DTC, retail, and social.
Track and communicate key dates, launches, and promotions.
Align with Brand, Social, and Product teams on cultural moments and activations.
Reviews & UGC
Moderate product reviews and user-generated content.
Syndicate reviews across retail channels and flag negative trends.
Retail Marketing Support
Assist with product setup in retailer systems (PXM, NPF, NLF).
Deliver marketing assets per retailer specs; audit product listings bi-annually.
Manage portals, samples, and submissions for special programs (e.g., Sephora Favorites).
Coordinate event logistics and sample shipments with Operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with Operations to ensure product readiness and barcoding.
Align campaign assets across DTC, retail, and influencer channels.
Content & Asset Creation
Support photoshoots and content production from brief to delivery.
Manage eCommerce and Sephora asset needs.
Hire and coordinate MUAs, photographers, studios, and editors.
What You Bring
2–4 years in eCommerce, brand marketing, or omnichannel retail (beauty/consumer goods preferred).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, TikTok Shop, Google Analytics, and retail systems.
Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Passion for beauty and storytelling across digital and retail platforms.
