About The Role We’re seeking an experienced User Experience Designer III (Product Design Platform Lead) to drive strategic design leadership and hands‑on execution for a core product platform. This role is ideal for a highly independent designer with deep UX expertise, strong Figma proficiency, and the ability to balance creative design work with platform‑level strategy and governance.
You’ll help shape the next generation of internal financial tools—ensuring usability, visual consistency, and design excellence across complex workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to the creation of concepts, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications that align with project schedules and goals.
Provide UX leadership and design direction, establishing and maintaining visual design guidelines and standards.
Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to define and execute the UX vision and platform branding strategy.
Conduct and review user research, synthesizing feedback, data, and usability findings to inform design decisions.
Champion user‑centered design principles, ensuring that products meet usability and accessibility standards.
Mentor junior designers, helping to elevate team skills, process, and communication.
Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment with enterprise design systems and existing UI frameworks.
Support and sometimes lead usability reviews, user testing sessions, and post‑launch design evaluations.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a User Experience or Product Designer, with demonstrated expertise in UX research, interaction design, and visual design.
Strong proficiency in Figma and familiarity with enterprise‑level design systems.
Proven ability to provide UX guidance on complex applications, from concept through delivery.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to give and receive constructive design feedback.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Comfortable working onsite 4+ days per week in one of the listed office locations.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries (especially in credit risk or workflow design).
Strong understanding of UX research methods, user testing, and data‑informed design.
Familiarity with AI‑enhanced design tools and ways to streamline dashboards or workflows for efficiency.
