What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Collaborate with multi-specialty care teams to manage clinical phone calls from patients and other facilities in a call center environment
Perform administrative tasks including triaging calls, scheduling appointments, and obtaining medical records
Respond promptly to patient requests and elevate urgent information as needed
Propose orders for diagnostics, lab tests, and prescription refills
Assist with email and patient portal communication to ensure seamless patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Must hold one of the following licenses/certifications: Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, or Registered Medical Assistant
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Must be professional, organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective interpersonal communication skills
HIPAA/OSHA compliance knowledge required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Bilingual candidates are preferred
EKG and Phlebotomy Certifications are required for employees with a CNA license in Primary Care Practices
Medical Assistants must have completed a training program or be a foreign Medical Doctor with a diploma
