Pharmacy Lecturer – SEM – Scientific Writing Clinical Trial Protocol Development The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy seeks a semester lecturer (associated track) to develop and deliver coursework related to Scientific Writing and Clinical Trial Protocol Development remotely within the MS Translational Pharmacology program during spring, summer, and autumn semesters. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of The Ohio State University and possess relevant work experience directly related to the protocol writing and clinical trial management in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities Develop and deliver graduate coursework related to Scientific Writing and Clinical Trial Protocol Development within the MS Translational Pharmacology program. Create lecture materials, facilitate learning activities, assess students (quizzes, exams, assignments, or homework as applicable). Offer weekly office hours, oversee teaching assistants (if assigned), submit grades, and resolve student or course issues. Performance Objectives Develop and/or teach courses as assigned. Responsible for the creation of lecture materials, facilitation of learning activities, assessments, offering weekly office hours, oversight of teaching assistants, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues. Education and Experience Requirements Required: Doctoral degree or equivalent; prior experience working in the pharmaceutical field related to clinical protocol development, implementation and trial oversight within the clinical space. Desired: Advanced degree related to Drug Development, Regulatory Sciences, or Clinical Trial Management; experience with independent management of remote graduate coursework focused on pharmaceutical sciences and regulation; experience using Canvas learning management system.
