Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Marketing Consultant to join our team on a part-time, 1099 independent contractor basis. This role requires a broad skill set, including strategic thinking, hands‑on execution, and leadership. The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with a proven track record of managing diverse digital projects and providing data‑backed recommendations to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Project Management: Direct and oversee multiple concurrent marketing projects, including delegating tasks and providing clear guidance to other contractors
Research & Development: Conduct ongoing research into new and developing marketing technologies and execution processes. This includes attending demos and communicating findings to leadership
Performance Reporting: Analyze key marketing metrics, present results to the leadership team, and guide strategic decision‑making based on performance data
Agile Planning: Create and lead agendas for staff meetings, facilitating discussions around marketing strategy and execution
Requirements
Proven experience as a marketing consultant or in a similar leadership role, preferably within a professional services or sensitive industry like private investigations
Demonstrated experience in a wide range of marketing areas, including:
Content writing
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
AI chatbot development and management
Email marketing and newsletter creation
Exceptional project management and leadership skills with the ability to direct other contractors
Experience with strategic research and presenting findings to executive leadership
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and translate it into actionable insights
Self‑motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be in the Indianapolis Area
