Job Summary
The primary purpose of the
Marketing Director, Servicing
role is to lead and oversee Planet’s Servicing and Sub‑Servicing marketing efforts with a special focus on borrower experience. This is a high‑impact role responsible for designing and optimizing an integrated, revenue‑driving borrower engagement strategy. You will partner with Sales, Operations, Servicing, Digital, and Analytics teams to ensure a seamless, high‑value experience that builds trust, deepens relationships, and maximizes lifetime value.
This role includes developing and implementing comprehensive B2C and B2B marketing strategies aligned with the company's objectives, managing customer journeys, marketing campaigns and projects across various channels, ensuring brand consistency, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, optimizing marketing technology platforms, conducting market research and analysis, and planning and executing events.
This Marketing Director will stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to drive business growth and success. This role plays a critical role in driving the company's marketing initiatives to achieve business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leads the strategic development and implementation of comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the Channel’s objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Leads the end‑to‑end borrower experience strategy by mapping and continuously optimizing customer journeys, owning segmentation and personalization frameworks, and orchestrating multi‑channel communications (email, SMS, direct mail, portal, website, call center, and digital/social) to ensure consistent brand voice, aligned touchpoints, and timely, relevant messaging that drives conversion and retention.
Directs the creation and management of various customer journeys, marketing campaigns, initiatives, and projects across multiple channels, overseeing their execution from conception to completion.
Collaborates closely with channel leaders, sales teams, internal departments, and external partners to develop targeted marketing strategies that effectively support each channel’s lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention efforts.
Plans and executes events, conferences, and webinars to enhance brand visibility, foster company culture, and drive business growth.
Leads continuous market and industry research, staying current on emerging technologies, best practices, regulatory shifts, consumer trends, and competitor strategies, and proactively applies insights to enhance marketing strategy and campaign effectiveness.
Provides support to the entire marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performance culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional development.
Analyzes campaign efforts for effectiveness, develops new strategies, and presents monthly reporting to guide business decisions.
Manages other key marketing initiatives critical to the Company’s success. Performs additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the marketing department.
Position Requirements Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, design, or business‑related field, or 8 years relevant business experience required.
Experience
Minimum 8 years marketing experience
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Minimum of 6 years of marketing, lifecycle management or CX management in financial services – mortgage servicing/sub‑servicing experience strongly preferred
Functional/Technical Skills
Expertise in CRM, marketing automation, and multi‑channel campaign management.
Energetic self‑starter with a positive attitude
Organized, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated
Superior oral and written communication skills
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
