Executive Visual Communications: Design and produce high-impact, executive-level presentations and strategic visual narratives. Responsibilities may include translating complex data and strategic objectives into clear, compelling visual stories, and developing visual frameworks for key messages and Ford initiatives. Digital Experience Design: Create intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user flows, applying insights from customer journey mapping to enhance digital experiences. Responsibilities may include visualizing complex system interactions for clarity and improved usability and ensuring UI designs improve usage and program performance. Dynamic Media Production: Produce and edit short-form video content, including motion graphics and animations. Responsibilities may include capturing and documenting project journeys, processes, and innovation narratives through video, and transforming conceptual ideas into engaging video assets for various platforms. Strategic Visual Impact: Drive the integration of visual communications across all channels to ensure consistency and maximize impact. Bachelor’s degree: in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, UX Design, Film/Media Production, or a closely related field. Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a dedicated role focused on high-level presentations, UI/UX design, and professional video production. A compelling online portfolio is required showcasing a robust body of work that demonstrates exceptional skill and a deep understanding across presentations, UI/UX (including documented customer journey mapping), and video/motion graphics. Graphic Design & Image Editing: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, ChatGPT and other AI tools UI/UX Design & Prototyping: Figma, Sketch, Miro (for journey mapping/collaboration). Video Editing & Motion Graphics: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition Presentation Software: Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced features, corporate template usage, animation as well as AI presentation tools. Expert ability to distill highly complex information and abstract ideas into clear, compelling, and visually effective communication that resonates with diverse audiences, including executive leadership. Demonstrated expertise in customer journey mapping with practical application in designing user interfaces that measurably improve user experience and program performance. Master's degree in a relevant design or communications field. 5+ years of experience in cross-media design, preferably within the automotive, tech, or a large corporate environment. Familiarity with corporate communications strategies and internal branding initiatives. Understanding of Ford's brand, products, and strategic objectives. Project Management/Collaboration (preferred familiarity): Jira Exceptional understanding and application of brand guidelines and visual consistency across all communication platforms. Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale and impact effectively. Proven ability to independently manage multiple complex projects from concept to completion, meet tight deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. A track record of solving challenging design problems. Be prepared to discuss specific examples of how you identified a communication challenge, developed a creative solution, and measured its effectiveness.
